Balanced geometry means trails can be attacked with confidence and ease. Rolling resistance is reduced and agility improved compared with heavier eMTB models.The lighter, more-compact Air Drive motor almost goes unnoticed. That is until the trails start to rise. Standing to attention, each crank of the pedals pushes you forward with added benefit. Effort is still exerted, sweat expelled, but the satisfaction of conquering the climb is justified.A set of 150mm RockShox Pike Ultimate forks paired with RockShox Deluxe Ultimate rear shock deliver the goods on the roughest and most demanding trails. Formula Crua brakes provide the stopping power, with a 12-speed Shimano XTR drivetrain creating crisp, clean and predictable shifting. Yamaha’s mid-mount Air Drive motor offers the latest in lightweight eMTB technology. Weighing in at 2.9kg, with a maximum torque of 50Nm, five power modes ensure the optimum power is delivered at all times from the high-tech 410Wh integrated battery.
